Blue Eden is a collaborative project by brothers Patrick Shyu and Henrick Shyu, based primarily in San Francisco and Tokyo. This is our vision of the world. Our imagery has been featured in National Geographic, History Channel, Fuji TV, Sundance, Youtube Plus, Bing/MSN, SKY, Moorings, eBay, Lincoln Motors, Hallenstein, Gizmodo, and Islands. We shoot with a variety of techniques and equipment including Nikon, Sony, Canon, Zeiss, GoPro, Glidecam, Panolapse, timelapse, and hyperlapse. But mostly, we just try not to get too lost.

Swimming with dolphins and manta rays in Big Island, Hawaii. Pods of dolphins cruise along the Kona coast of Hawaii. They're quite playful, jumping and flipping out of the sea. Occasionally, they came to look at us :) The water is amazingly blue and... more
Sailing Phuket and the Phi Phi archipelago in Thailand. We filmed this over a week aboard a catamaran in Phuket. Having never before sailed in Asia, I wasn't sure what to expect. But surrounded in emerald-green waters amongst dozens of scattered limes... more
